Vopak Netherlands (Rotterdam Europoort)
A small group of Young Vopak professionals and young refugees are making a two-day sailing trip together with the Dutch tall ship the Eendracht.
During the sailing trip, they will have the chance to get to know each other better, to work together on board the ship and to share knowledge and experience.
This project is aimed to help the young refugees by opening up new horizons and creating a broader network towards the job market in the Netherlands.
The group will board in Harlingen and sail to the Port of Rotterdam.
During the trip they also have the face the challenges of rain, storm, waves, working closely together as watch groups to ensure that the ship stays in service 24/7 by doing all necessary activities onboard, cleaning the ship together and helping in the kitchen.
