Vopak South Africa (Lesedi)
This project provides life skills lessons at five local schools in the Lesedi area, in cooperation with a South African NGO specialized in the personal development of young people.
The students, who come from different backgrounds, often lack a stable environment and/or role models.
With the Life Skills program, they get the opportunity to focus on developing social, emotional and cognitive skills. The ability to nurture healthy relationships, solve problems and make healthy decisions is something that every individual need in life.
Vopak employees play a key role in engaging with young learners by supporting the lessons and sharing their own life experiences.
