Certain events in life bring the world around you to a standstill.
One such unimaginable and deeply sad event is the passing away of our friend and former colleague in the Executive Board of Vopak, John Paul Broeders.
His energy, his passion, his positive attitude, humor and impact make it incomprehensible for those around him that he is no longer with us.
A sportsman and businessman in heart and soul with an inspiring ambition of wanting to win.
He sadly lost his courageous but unfair battle against the unexpectedly aggressive form of cancer prematurely at the young age of 47.
We shall miss him. Everything we previously took for granted in our personal and unique relationship, we shall cherish as an exceptional life experience.
Our warm thoughts and support are with his wife and their two beloved children.
We wish them every strength in coming to terms with the loss of this extraordinary person and hope that the treasured memories shall give them the strength they need.
