Vopak South Africa (Durban)
The project in Durban was one of the first WeConnect projects that started in 2016 with the aim to provide internet connectivity and IT resources to the children (aged 10-19 years) and teachers of the nearby Amaoti Combined School.
Firstly, 22 classrooms were converted into smart classrooms. Then the infrastructure was thoroughly checked and improved to guarantee a safe and efficient use of all equipment.
During this follow up project, the WeConnect team will provide a personalized training for the educators to maximize the usage of internet and technical support for the equipment.
