In North America, Vopak operates eight strategically-located terminals - six in the United States and two in Canada - used mainly for the storage of chemicals. At the terminals in Los Angeles (USA) and in Hamilton (Canada), Vopak is also active in oil storage. In North America Vopak operates close to 2.3 million cbm storage capacity. With terminals in Deer Park and Galena Park, Houston is one of Vopak’s
hub locations besides Rotterdam/Antwerp and Singapore. The remaining terminals above all fulfil an
import and distribution function. In North America, Vopak stands out against the competition due to the flexible deployability of its terminals for the storage of a very wide range of products. Thanks to this flexibility, Vopak maintains excellent relations with its key customers, a fact increasingly reflected in multiyear contracts.
