|
18 October 2006
Recently, Vopak Terminals Korea (VTK) commissioned two tanks of 3,000 cbm at the Terminal 1-C in Ulsan. This site is now fully utilized with 12 tanks - including two Butadiene spheres - and a total capacity of 33,600 cbm. The 6,000 cbm expansion is part of a scheme to have more tanks available that are suitable for transshipment of products from other continents into North East Asia. In view of this development, VTK has also started construction of two 5,000 cbm tanks in Terminal 2. Completion of the tanks is scheduled for Q1 2007. Today, VTK serves as a transshipment hub for amongst others Ethanol, Acrylonitrile, Tetrahydrofuran and various Intermediates.
