Application and selection

How to apply

If you are a graduate, interested in a career at Vopak, you are requested to send us your application, using the online Application Form. This standard application form is designed to assist our recruitment process. With the form, we would like to receive your resume / CV in your own format, supplemented with a letter explaining your motivation and ambitions to work at Vopak. We prefer that you use the online Application Form and email.


Application and selection procedure

Once we have received your Application Form, supplemented with your resume / CV and letter, your application will go through the following stages:

  • Evaluation of your Application Form, letter and resume / CV
  • A first selection interview
  • A second selection session, consisting of a series of interviews with (senior) line managers
  • An assessment, consisting of several tests.

If you passed these stages with good results, we will make you a job offer.
Vopak recruits graduates throughout the year; there are no annual "fixed" entry dates. Once we receive your on-line application, it will be evaluated and matched against our future staffing needs and job opportunities. In the initial phases of the recruitment process, we focus on your personal and professional skills and competencies as well as on your "fit" with Vopak. Once you have passed your first interview(s), we will focus on the specific positions you may start your career with Vopak in the next round of interviews. If you pass all stages with good results, we will mutually agree the start date of your career at Vopak, which will depand on the actual positions available and your own personal planning.
